How old does my child need to be to play?
Players must be born in 2020 or earlier to be eligible for the Spring 2025 season.
What are the important dates for the SPRING 2025 Season?
Registration is now open and closes on February 28th, 2025 at 11:59 am.
Practices will begin approximately 4 weeks following the close of registration Games will begin in
April and continue for 8 weekends.
When is the registration deadline for the SPRING 2025 season?
Players must be registered by February 28th, 2025.
What is the cost to play soccer?
In-house Recreational Teams (Under 6 - Under 10) - $100 per player (includes a team jersey)
Travel Teams (Under 12 and older) - $110 plus a $50 uniform fee.
Early bird registration from January 1-31st, 2025 will receive $10 off registration
Any late registrations after February 28th, 2025 will have a $50 late fee.
This is my child's first season, what does he/she need to get started?
Players will need shin guards, an appropriate sized ball, and water for all games and practices. Soccer spikes are not required but recommended, especially for older age groups. Spikes must be made for soccer, with plastic spikes and no spike on the tip of the shoe.
What size ball does my child need?
Under 6 and Under 8 -- Size 3 ball
Under 10 and Under 12 -- Size 4 ball
Under 14 and Up -- Size 5 ball
Where are the Soccer Fields and when are the games and practices?
Mohawk Soccer Club is working to expand our field locations.
We will be utilizing North Beaver Fields, Hillsville Fields and the Bessemer Pump House Fields.
*Games and practices may be rescheduled to a different time/date due to scheduling conflicts, inclement weather, etc.
We do not live in the Mohawk School District, can my child still participate?
Yes. The Mohawk Soccer Club does not discriminate for any reason, including residence.
